Ferry Lane · Stock & gaps

Two different reasons to check a shelf.

Some stock has stopped moving. Other lines may have gone missing while the shop was busy. Both deserve a look, but they tell you different things.

See the actual product

Open the real software exactly as an owner sees it each morning, with invented figures.

The worked examples on this demo site and the product pages use separate invented snapshots, so their dates and totals differ.

These links open the dead-stock sections of the morning sheets. The possible shelf gaps below remain a worked example on this demo site.

Money on the shelf, not money back. Stock at shelf price is not recoverable cash or a resale estimate. Counts and prices are invented; tax is excluded. The first two lines have a buyer at another of your shops, so their value uses that shop's shelf price and matches Stock transfers. The laundry liquid sells at none of the three shops.

A sensible next step: check the shelf and back room, stop topping up these lines, then consider moving them, reducing the price or taking them out of the range. No return or sale is assumed.

Possible gaps, not confirmed stockouts
